More will be revealed to..."How about those Wings?"

More will be revealed tonight! I'm having a helluva good time reading the Chicago sports pages... it's REALLY funny. The Hawks lose the first game and it's the end of the world (or at least one would think so)!Buckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05319116022465066060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17194754360386448.post-11345379517707445172009-05-18T07:59:00.000-07:002009-05-18T07:59:00.000-07:00LL; The Spousal Unit hasn't really read your comme...LL; The Spousal Unit hasn't really read your comment, but I like the way you think...Barco Sin Vela IIhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15621907771132379553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17194754360386448.post-50240363338331363872009-05-18T07:57:00.000-07:002009-05-18T07:57:00.000-07:00Yes Buck, definitely TMI. I put myself in his shoes and was uncomfortable.

How about those Wings?Barco Sin Vela IIhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15621907771132379553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17194754360386448.post-48609040228604082242009-05-18T07:35:00.000-07:002009-05-18T07:35:00.000-07:00Wow. I feel bad for the guy, but wouldn't the speech have been more appropriate at another time? Just sayin'.

Ummm, where do you live, LL? I think I wanna be your friend! ;-)Buckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05319116022465066060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17194754360386448.post-76865962743798486742009-05-17T09:39:00.000-07:002009-05-17T09:39:00.000-07:00I've been in your shoes before.
Somebody gets up...I've been in your shoes before.

Somebody gets up and gives a similar speech, tearfully explaining the woes of his life and the last thing you can do is raise a glass and say, "Ok, let's get this party STARTED!"

A few years ago a good friend of mine died in the service of his country. Actually my best friend. He provided for a wake through an attorney and money he left behind for that purpose. So we gathered together (all men) at a place he liked to hoist a few. There was a large Hummer limo out front (WTF? over). The lawyer ushered the seven of us into the limo where young women - all stunning - were waiting to accompany us to a resort for the weekend.

I decided then and there how I wanted my memorial service to be run and put money aside for my buddies. (apologies to your she-who-must-be-obeyed spousal unit who will read this and will impress on you the importance of never becoming my friend...)LLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05538854359365988863noreply@blogger.com
