Still roosting in private...

We are indeed still viable and kicking about in Barco-Land. The long drought in communicating with you is due to laziness and a bit of ennui brought on by the nice folks in D.C. and the mass media.

Barco will collect up some Yoopers this Friday, and we shall head South on the St Johns River to Hontoon Island. Hontoon is a great place to visit and it never gets old for me, but with a fifteen hour journey it is a bit of a stretch for the regular visitor.

There have been home improvements this week, the washer and dryer now live in the garage and we now have a super sized pantry in the closet formerly known as the washeteria.  Thanks to "Raoul" (Bruce), we are setting up very nicely and when we return from our trip we shall really make some changes in our home.

Someday, Bruce will be able to visit without having to work like a rented mule.

Think nice thoughts for Bruce, he returns to the Sandbox in two weeks to continue his everyday job of which has nothing to do with home improvement. I think his job is more about some sort of missionary work in which he and his crew help people to find the Lord. Which is nice.

Delta Charlie out.

Crewing any ship means working like an unwanted stepchild...

Fair winds to the Barco & crew.
