Out and about on the Web

Once again, I begin to feel inadequate talking about my favorite subject; Boats.

I was on the Marine Trawler site and was reading an entry by "Beach House", a couple who made the move from sailboat to trawler. Great read, wonderfully describing the Intracoastal Waterway and the persnicketyness of both the channels and the wayfarer's.

My experience on the ICW is purely Florida based and I am planning to get around the Great Circle in the next couple of years. The trip will probably be a couple of weeks at a time in order to continue the income and lessen the outgo. For some, the Great Circle is the culmination of a lifetime of boating. To others, (and ourselves) the voyage is just another box to tick.

It ain't like launching the shuttle

GOWI! (Get on with it!)

Now, some eye candy;

Wasn't that fun? Danny and Armi from Finland, around 1980.

Indeed, "What about tomorrow?" Armi asks. (That song was going around in a viral video a couple of years ago, and I like the clean version better). I dare you to watch the english version.
Pure comedy genius.
Yuck.

Tomorrow? Compliance with the OPORDER while SWWBO runs errands.

Have a nice Friday!

Eye candy is always good.

Wow, Your blog and The Beach House are excellent reads for all us land lubbers.

Have a great Friday.

You have... ummm... unusual taste in video, Darryl! I got about 45 seconds into the English version before I terminated it... with prejudice.

Have a great weekend!

Buck, I did dare anyone to watch the crepulant English version. Yuck.

The Finnish (or more properly; Suomi) Version is much prettier, not to mention a classy performance.
