Another wicked cool sailing blog

Photo; Moanasailing.com

The photo above is from the front page of Moana Sailing; Go to Moana Sailing This is the most well written and documented sailing blog, and I am really getting that urge to get across the Pacific. They really rock the story!

They start with a little six monther to Mexico, and decide to zoom across to Marquesas and New Zealand on a 32 fot Downeast Sailboat.

The thing I like best is that there is no rush to get anywhere, unlike when I was doing my trip.

I will post more later...

Hmmm... I never thought I'd see "zoom" and "sailboat" in the same sentence, with the possible exception of discussing the America's Cup. :D

You've been pointing us to different sailing blogs and now you've come right and said it: you've got the urge. I'm thinking we might be reading about a different adventure in real-time... soon.

Thanks, Buck.
You caught me. But I do have the opportunity to sail El Pacifico next year, if I want. Beaujolais is leaving Panama and heading to Australia, so that would be the quickest way for me to be out "there".

But, I would prefer my own boat with current crew from Barco.

Thanks for stopping by.
