A fine Tuesday, it is!

The weather is supposed to be grand today, temps to 78! SWWBO wondered if I should consider sanding some varnish, just to get outside to play on the Barco.

Here is a really nice video and song in honor of the Sailors from WWII who were fortunate enough to have to work on a sailboat.

Arrrrr!

And of course Nick, Dave and Bob. From 1958;

If I can't be out there, at least my mind can be.

Oh, almost forgot to say 'Happy Birthday', Gary!

Have a fine day!

We had sailboats in WWII? In the NAVY? Who'd a thunk it!

Somebody will always get the "Good Duty". The idea with the sailboats was that they are quiet, cannot be heard by the enemy submarines and the sailboats looked harmless.

Ernest Hemingway was involved in the small boat initiative in the Gulf of Mexico, doing similar work.
