New Cruising areas for the Barco.

Ahh, Monday.

Going through the bills, I noticed a renewal for the boat insurance and for a change, I actually read through the policy. Seems that the Boys in Bloomington have changed the cruising area for our boat in the Bahamas. The old rule was the Northern Bahamas, to include Grand Bahama, Andros Is., Abaco and New Providence Is. were the only places for our boat, the rest of the islands would leave us uncovered.

Ta-Da!

The new policy extends the cruising area from 23N to 27N and 75W to 80W and that area looks like this;

But Rum Cay and San Salvador Is. are out of the boundaries but Cuba is almost included. Good news, regardless. All we need now is the time to actually visit these islands, right?

Whatever. Nice to see the insurance company is actually trying to make sensible changes for the Florida Boaters.

Great weekend was had, I got walloped at the dock walloper party. The nice thing was that some business opportunities may be arising from the boating front and maybe even resurrecting my Insurance License in the areas of commercial dwellings and the like. We will see.

Have a nice week.
